DARK CHOCOLATE DRIZZLED PALEO APPLE NACHOS

An amazing recipe by Paleo Grubs, an incredible nutrition/recipes website. Try this easy to make and nutritious snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, sliced
  • ¼ cup dairy free, paleo friendly dark chocolate chips, melted

  • ¼ cup almond butter, softened

  • 1 tbsp sliced almonds

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

Directions

  • Arrange the apple slices on a plate in a single layer.

  • Drizzle with almond butter and melted dark chocolate.

  • Sprinkle with coconut flakes and chopped almond.

  • Serve immediately.

HEALTHY ONION RINGS

A non fattening and amazing recipe for an ordinarily greasy side dish

Ingredients

  • 1 large red onion cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
  • 2/3 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 cup Almond Milk (1 tbsp almond butter blended with 1 cup water)
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/3 cup fine cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs 100% whole-grain salt-free OR 2/3 cups of medium coarse cornmeal*
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Savory Spice Blend
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

GIANT PROTEIN PANCAKE

Ingredients 

  • 56g pancake mix

  • 60g egg whites

  • 75g greek yogurt

  • 30g water

  • 21g syrup

  • 5g fat free Reddi Wip

  • 100g frozen berries

  • 2g splenda

HIGH PROTEIN STRAWBERRY MOUSSE

A perfect healthy and fruity high protein snack to make

Ingredients & Directions

  • 2 cups of boiling water

  • 1 pack of strawberry Jell-O

  • 1.5 cups of 2% yogurt

  • Mix well

  • 5 grams choice of sweetener

  • 60 grams vanilla protein

  • Mix well again

  • 1 cup chopped strawberries

  • 1 hour in fridge

  • Ready to eat (perfect for a post workout snack)
